The fourth issue of TV-Programme supported by UNDP ICTP project will be broadcasted on Tuesday October 11 and will be retransmitted on Friday October 14 on Yoshlar Channel of Uzbek national television.
The TV- Programme named Taraqqiyot sari (Towards Development) aims at raising awareness of inducing the interest among the population on ICT development both in Uzbekistan and globally. The language of the Program is Uzbek.
As it was informed earlier in the previous TV-Programme the fourth TV-Programme is a special issue devoted to the momentous event, the 3rd National Summit on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Uzbekistan (19-20 September 2005).
The Programme starts with the Summit opening, with further information about goals and general objectives of the Summit. Continuing the good practice, the programme includes interview with organisers/participants of the event. For the first time in the Programme, a blitz interview with ICTP IT volunteers is presented, who share with their opinion and their contribution to the event.
UNDPs project Assisting the Government of Uzbekistan in the formulation and implementation of ICT for development policy is aimed at supporting the development of ICT policy in Uzbekistan and facilitating use of ICT for achieving development goals.
