World Communication Association, North America organizes a conference on the theme Global Perspectives on Communication and Culture on August 2-5, 2006.
The conference will be inclusive of the teaching, research, and applied uses of international and intercultural communication world-wide, ranging from interpersonal to mass communication.
This conference will give participants the opportunity to explore communication theory, research, teaching, and practice as they relate to our own culture(s) and our shared global environment. In addition to competitively selected papers and programs, there will also be panels and interactive sessions related to teaching and research methodologies, a roundtable session, with audience involvement, discussing how communication teaching and research is carried out worldwide.
