ICT expo to showcase Nepali Version of MS Office, Linux
A large number of computer users will be able to see the features of Nepali version of Microsoft office and Linux for the first time which can be operated in Nepali in the CAN INFOTECH- 2006 to be held from January 25 to 30.
The High Level Information and Technology Commission (HLITC) will display Nepali version of Microsoft office and Nepalinux in the event, said Biplav Man Singh, president of the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) at a press conference Wednesday.
Other 110 companies are taking part in the event to be held at Birendra International Conference Centre (BICC), which will introduce new technologies and products in the area of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) and offer various privileges to the visitors for purchasing their products and services.
Computer hardware, software, new development in the area of ICT, competition among internet service providers, academic institutions and training institutions in offering privileges to the customers will be main features of the INFOTECH, according to a press statement of the CAN.
