Plans are on the anvil to give boost to the IT related infrastructure, especially Internet connectivity, in the Hitech city of Hyderabad. According to the State Government sources talks are on with several big companies to extend the Wi-Fi network to the entire Hitech City area, where more than a hundred major IT companies have their operations and more than a lakh people are working.
Companies like CISCO, Intel and Nortel have been asked to prepare estimates for the projects which will make internet easily accessible from wherever you are in the Hitech City area. It is also expected to increase the speed of internet substantially.
