Time to get online

In today’s networked world, civil society organizations are recognizing the
power of the Internet for their advocacy work. While many organizations
around the world have already embraced this technology, many
organizations in Africa have not yet been able to access the wealth of
resources available through the Internet. One of the key barriers has been
a lack of necessary Internet skills.

This set of learning materials is created by Kabissa to help African civil society organizations to get online and to integrate the Internet into their organizations.

The first half of this course is geared towards creating Internet-savvy
activists. The second half of the course will help to empower African civil
society organizations to be effective Internet champions, capable of
leading their organizations through the challenging process of integrating
the Internet into their organizations. Additional resources for continued
learning can be found in the Appendices and on the accompanying CDROM.
Instructions on the use of the CD-ROM can be found at the end of this Preface.

Read the full module at Time to Get Online.
