A one-day workshop on "Gender, ICTs and Development" will be held in Manchester on Tuesday 6th June.

Further details and a registration form can be found at: http://www.womenictenterprise.org/manworkshop.htm

The workshop will bring together contemporary field evidence from Africa, Asia and the Caribbean on the relations between ICTs and socio-economic development from a gendered perspective.

The workshop is an event of the UK Development Studies Association "Information, Technology and Development" study group. Some support for UK travel costs may be available to members of the Development Studies Association: please contact Richard Heeks in advance of the workshop.

Do please pass on details of this workshop to any relevant colleagues.
