Centre for Civil Society, an NGO based in New Delhi, invites applications from the college students to attend its "i, Society & Public Policy" programme from June 8-19, 2006.
The ISPP is an exciting residential program complete with lectures, field visits, working groups, discussions, documentary screenings.
As an applicant for the ISPP, participants are required to attend & stay with organisers for 12 days.
Format: Interactive sessions with the practitioners, activists, policy researchers, policy makers, field exercises, working group exercises; and screening of documentary films. Participants will also engage in a field research project during the program.
Issues: Self, society & the state; poverty; education; livelihood; communalism; governance; censorship; environment; entrepreneurship; gender & sexuality; globalisation & culture
