The first ever National ICT conference in Afghanistan

Ministry of Communications of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan a long with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) organized the first ever National ICT conference in Afghanistan on May 25-26, 2006 at Loya Jirga Hall.

Hundrends of Participants attended the May 25-26 national ICT Confernce, and more than 30 national and international private companies and UNDP projects and other exhibition at the loya jirga tent to celebrate Afghanistan’s communications success in Afghanistan.

At the beginning, His Excellency Ahmad Zia Massoud, the first vice president of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan inaugurated the ICT Conference and said that Afghanistan has made considerable good progress in the field of communications in past four years, but still much requires to be done to provide communications services to all parts of country.
