Information Minister Dr. Edmond Mansoor is in Jamaica representing Antigua & Barbuda at a Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) symposium in Jamaica.
The three day symposium started on the occasion of yesterdays observation of World Telecommunications Day.
Dr. Mansoor said the symposiums objective is to raise the profile of information and telecommunications development as a strategy for regional integration and development. The theme for the symposium is ICTs: Facilitating Caribbean Integration.
The symposium is being held in association with the telecommunications policy and management programme at the School of Business at the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies.
