Viet Nam produces new cheap laptops

A new cheap laptop trademark produced by an alliance of some local computer hardware companies in Viet Nam has been introduced to public.

According to the alliance, the first of the kind in Viet Nam, the V-Open is a rather compact laptop with a weight of 1.8 kg and a 12-14 inch screen. It uses Intel technology and will be sold at 840-1,050 USD, 20-30 percent lower than foreign trademarks with similar configurations.

Customers will be able to enjoy technical assistance services nationwide provided by all members of the alliance, which includes five computer businesses and one information technology centre.
