Bahrain's government moved into the hi-tech age yesterday with the launch of Bab Al Bahrain website.
It will link all government ministries and help speed up services to citizens via the Internet.
Central Informatics Organisation president Shaikh Ahmed bin Attiyatalla Al Khalifa said the e-government gate is the by-product of long years of hard work and non-stop planning to prepare crucial infrastructure.
It is a comprehensive framework and an integral system that enables government administrations to provide their services electronically.
