Life Line to Business (LL2B. COM), an organization based in Chennai, was the proud recipient of the Manthan-AIF 2006 Award for "Best e-Content" in India for the category "e-Inclusion and Livelihood".
The Award is instituted by the Digital Empowerment Foundation, American India Foundation, in collaboration with World Summit Award, in the framework of the United Nations' World Summit on Information Society (WSIS).
This was one one of the 30 initiatives recognised from 25 states in India.
Mr. Kris Dev (Krishnan), President & CEO of Life Line to Business (LL2B) and an e-Governance Expert, received the Award from Mr. Wajahat Habibullah, The Chief Information Commissioner of India, at an impressive Manthan Award Gala at New Delhi on Aug 05, 2006.
Mr. Kris Dev made a presentation on "Creating Sustainable Living - Biometric tracking of payments received under NREGA". It was well received by the audience and there was a lot of interaction on the prsentation and the utility of such biometric tracking in empowering the rural poor and introducing transparency and accountability.

They are now working to integrate biometric tracking in the NREGA implementation. They are also working to integrate new features such as m-Governance, using secure SMS communication using mobile telephone in their 'e-Administration' e-Office Tool, for approval of files.
