Maltese organizations will be able to participate in the European Information and Communication Technologies Prize (EICT Prize), which is among the most distinguished awards for innovative products and services that represent the best of European innovation in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
Organizations, from enterprises to universities, based in the European Union (EU) or in associated states, are eligible to participate. The European Commission will select up to 20 EICT Prize Winners and up to 3 Grand Prize Winners, based on the technical rankings established by the expert evaluators.
eGovmonitor said that the result of the evaluation will be announced in February 2007. The application deadline ends on the 4th December 2006.
