Uzbekistan, Korea agree to cooperate in ICT
Uzbek Agency for Communication and Informatization (UzACI) and Ministry of Communication and Information of South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in information-communication technologies on 25 September.
The document was signed after negotiations of officials of Uzbek agency and Korean ministry in Tashkent. The talks were held within the official visit of South Korean Prime Minister Han Myeong-sook to Uzbekistan. The Uzbek delegation was led by UzACI director-general Abdulla Aripov, while Korean delegation was headed by Vice Minister of Communication and Information Yoo Younghwan.
The sides exchanged opinions on cooperation issues in strengthening business relations and issues on creation of new opportunities for further mutually beneficial development of business.
