Technology Training Workshops in South Africa

Next generation networks and the Internet rely on the IP (Internet Protocol). Internet is rapidly evolving. Deployment of optic fibre and converging broadcasting and IP telephony puts pressures on the revenue streams to operators in addition to the extra pressures from 802.11 a/b/g. Operators, SMEs and individuals who understand the place emerging IP services have on revenue streams have an edge over competitors. The 5 tutorial and training workshops on VoIP, IPTV, Mobile TV, Softswitch, real-time protocols and IP over Power Line communications sets the tone and lays the foundations for understanding, deploying, training and IP services. Rare skills in IP and digital communications will be imparted to participants based on the experiences of industry practitioners. The training also covers technologies, strategies, billing, marketing, regulation and implementations
