ASSOCHAM, the apex chamber of Commerce & Industry, popularly known as "the Knowledge Chamber" recognises the immense potential of knowledge economy. ASSOCHAM believes that the development of network-based distributed systems that serve numerous and diverse constituents and improve the overall efficiency and functioning of governments is a priority. The capacity-building aspect and basic infrastructure needs to be strengthened.
