Mobile banks for quake-hit China

Guangzhou, China: In order to help Chinese banks recover from the devastating earthquake that recently afflicted the country, GRG Banking Equipment Co. has provided a mobile bank solution which combines self-service devices with manual service and makes use of ATMs and branch cash recyclers.

Compared with building a traditional branch, this solution reduces cost and takes less time. These mobile banks not only offer a full range of banking services, but also provide flexibility of location.

GRG Banking built the first tent bank for Bank of China in Dujiangyan on May 12. It will also help Agriculture Bank of China build 10 tent banks and 50 mobile banks in disaster areas in order to provide banking services for the earthquake victims.

In addition, GRG Banking's northwest service station has implemented emergency procedures to provide timely service for banks in the disaster area at any moment.

In the wake of China's earthquake, GRG Banking is helping banks to repair their self-service equipment. At the same time, GRG Banking and its staff are donating money to help the earthquake victims rebuild their homes, according to the release.
