05.03.2003 Gamos Ltd. and the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation have carried out field research through local universities in Ghana, Botswana and Uganda, which concentrated on talking to users and potential users in rural and low-income areas. The results highlight some interesting features of how people use and access phones, and illuminate factors that lie behind some of the choices that users have to make.
