Saying the process had been "disillusioning and frustrating," civil society delegates at the World Summit on the Information Society presented an "alternative declaration" yesterday, which calls for information societies that are free from discrimination and conflict and based on a framework of social, political and economic justice and a more equitable distribution of resources.
