A new book lays out clearly what is at stake when governments gather in December to discuss the global control of information. “As our mass media become more and more sanitized and commodified, our airspace sold to the highest bidders, and our common knowledge and creativity get fenced off, we fear that the information society is solely promoting the expansion of corporate control at people’s expense,” said one activist.
