After yesterday's court ruling that the government's "consultation" on energy - which paved the way for new nuclear power stations - was "misleading" and "seriously flawed" - Prime Minister Tony Blair commented, "This won't affect the policy at all" and Trade and Industry Minister Alistair Darling promised "to put it right and consult properly, to make sure we can get the process back on track."
In other words: public
consultation is a sham because we are going nuclear anyway.
