08.01.2004 A new Indian government program to bring medicinal plants into the country's medical and popular mainstream should make the plants safer to use while putting money into the pockets of the villagers who collect them. The program marks a shift away from viewing state-owned forests strictly as timber stock. Canada's International Development Research Centre has been supporting medicinal plant projects in India for more than a decade.

17.12.2003 Combler le fossé numérique entre nations du Nord et du Sud nécessite que les populations de l’Asie puissent obtenir de l’information sur Internet dans leur langue.
