Teachers Without Borders, a U.S.-based organization, needs mentor-teachers to guide students from different parts of the world through the Certificate of Teaching Mastery program.
Students around the world are connecting through poetry, photography, video, storytelling, and technology courtesy of an innovative classroom project called "One Face At A Time." The project was designed by Teachers Without Borders, a U.S.-based non-profit.
For one U.S.-based organization, working with diverse group of teachers from around the world requires a simple, practical solution, namely,Community Teaching and Learning Centers (CTLC). The model, emphasizing community sustainability and involvement, is now successfuly being used to enhance teacher skills in eight countries.
Teachers can now learn how to integrate a global perspective into their lessons with the Certificate of Teaching Mastery (CTM). It consists of an online introductory seminar and 5 online courses. The material is available online and on CD-Rom. The HIV/AIDS for Educators course focuses on the latest research and programs, and how teachers can integrate this into their curriculum.

Teachers Without Borders has initiated a project to train the teachers and community in Afghanistan. The newly set up Community Teaching and Learning Centre will offer a range of resources to the community at large.
