Home-based care in Zambia
10.11.2003 The Youth Skills Enterprise Initiative in Zambia has started a microcredit programme for street children where young people between the ages of 14 and 22 undergo three weeks of training in business and life skills. After the training, they are given loans to start their business, which are to be repaid over three months.

06.11.2003 Canada is contributing $287,600 to support a peaceful, fair and transparent general election process in Guatemala. Voting goes forward on November 9. The Canadian funds are supporting a range of national and local initiatives aimed at promoting a fair vote.
