The widely-read book by US-based health organisation Hesperian Where There Is No Doctor is now online. The Hesperian Foundation's classic manual has helped people take lead in their own health care and organize to improve health conditions in their communities. Simply written and heavily illustrated, the book is available in many languages.
From pesticides to deforestation, from toxic waste to oil drilling, environmental destruction is making people sick all over the world. The Hesperian Foundation is currently developing A Community Guide to Environmental Health to help communities in their struggle for environmental health.
