Academy for Disaster-Management Education Planning & Training (ADEPT)

The Academy for Disaster-Management Education, Planning, and Training (ADEPT) is a non-profit organization that aims to consolidate knowledge in the field of disaster management for the purpose of advocacy and training of disaster management personnel for more effective functioning. ADEPT undertakes projects that build capacity and develop affected communities. ADEPT's is the disaster management initiative of the National Lutheran Health and Medical Board (NLHMB) which is the official Health & Medical Unit of the United Evangelical Lutheran Church in India (UELCI) engaged in promoting medical work, medical education and other relief to the poor and needy.
