Initiative of Specialists for Helping Children With Special Needs “VelikiMali”

With a desire to contribute to improvement of quality of work with children with disabilities and their families, to provide them free and adequate professional assistance and hence directly contribute to alleviating the problems of everyday life, in July 1999 as part of the Pancevo Peace Movement, we started Initiative for Professional Assistance to Children with Disabilities “VelikiMali” (BigLittle). Direct service users of VelikiMali programmes are children with various types and extent of disabilities, aged between 3 and 18, as well as their families. Throughout our work, we influence a wide population of children, professionals (pre-school and primary school teachers, pedagogues, psychologists, special educationalists, etc.), the general public, local authorities and Republic Ministries.
