As people around Canada and the world join the call to action against poverty, the 4th annual report on civil society engagement with the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) has been released. Entitled, "WE the Peoples 2005- Mobilizing for Change: Messages from Civil Society," the report gathers information from civil society organizations around the globe -- their opinions, priorities and actions -- relative to the implementation of the MDGs and the Millennium Declaration.

OTTAWA — L’Institut Nord-Sud et la Fédération mondiale des associations pour les Nations Unies (FMANU) ont publié aujourd’hui le 4e rapport annuel sur l’engagement de la société civile en faveur des Objectifs de développement du millénaire. L’Institut se joint ainsi aux nombreux participants du Canada et de par le monde qui répondent à l’appel lancé pour lutter contre la pauvreté.
