08.10.2004 Tourism educators from the Caribbean region are attending a virtual workshop to learn how to use 'Atutor', a web-based content management system enabling them easily publish the course materials online. The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) are organising the workshop for the development of tourism industry.

15.07.2004 In a recent gathering of Commonwealth Parliamentarians in Accra, Ghana, representatives of some 20 countries agreed upon the principle of providing the citizens free access to public information. The meeting also recommended that public institutions should be able to bring out key information in appropriate formats by law.
