19.07.2005 On July 10, 1995, around 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys were systematically massacred after the United Nations “safe area” of Srebrenica fell to the Bosnian Serb Army. Ten years later, relatives are still waiting for the Bosnian Serb authorities to tell them exactly what happened to their family members. Amnesty is asking people to write polite letters expressing concern that many of the perpetrators of the Srebrenica massacre have yet to be brought to justice.
