Thousands of people strong peaceful protest against weapons and armed violence was held yesterday in Skopje, the capitol of Macedonia. The rally was organized as part of the International Action Week Against Small Arms, as well as to mark the death of three and wounding six young people in an internet café, last week.

Kampanjata ke se sproveduva vo sorabotka so Partnerstvoto za bezbednost i sigurnost vo zaednicata na UNDP, Karitas Francija vo Makedonija, Opstina Cair, gragjanskoto dvizenje Zgjohu! (Razbudi se!), i Esnaf, zdruzenie na zanaetciite od Starata skopska carsija.

At the press conference held earlier today, the Civil NGO from Skopje presented the campaign organized to mark the Global week of Action Against Arms (May 22-29). The Campaign will be implemented in cooperation with the UNDP's Partnership for Community Safety and Security; the Caritas France in Macedonia; Cair Municipality; Zgjohu! civil movement (Wake UP!), and "Esnaf" association of artizans and craftsmen from the Old Bazaar in Skopje.
