Pierre Pettigrew, ont annoncé aujourd'hui que le Canada affectera 20 observateurs à la mission internationale d'observation des élections présidentielles de l'Autorité palestinienne, qui auront lieu le 9 janvier 2005. En outre, l'Agence canadienne de développement international (ACDI) participera à trois projets qui visent à favoriser la tenue d'élections libres, justes et transparentes en Cisjordanie et dans la bande de Gaza.
