ISIF 2012 Program now accepting applications
The Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF) is a grants and awards program to stimulate creative solutions to ICT needs in the Asia Pacific region. Applications for the 2012 ISIF Awards and Grants are now open.
The ISIF Asia Program, which provides small grants and awards, was developed to help advance local and regional projects aimed at introducing, improving, and applying Internet technology for the benefit of Asia-Pacific users and communities.
For the 2012 ISIF programme, there are four new categories for ISIF projects. Applications for ISIF Awards and Grants are now open for initiatives in the following areas:
1. Innovation on access provision
2. Innovation on learning and localization
3. Code for the common good
ISIF Grants and Awards are given on the basis that they align with the funding categories and eligibility criteria of that particular initiative.
Applicants are encouraged to seek further clarification on the difference between ISIF Grants and Awards if necessary.
The ISIF Secretariat has informed about the launch of the new website (http://isif.asia) for the ISIF.asia program, which features easier online application procedures, social media updates, and detailed information on the ISIF Grants and Awards programs.
