Sustainability Virtual Summits
G2Events will host the first in the series of virtual event, Smart ICT, that will focus on information technology for mitigating the effects of climate change from February 9–11, 2010. Registration is open for submitting papers and exhibitions.
ICT alone, through the solutions to be discussed during the Sustainability Virtual Summits, could contribute up to 50% of the possible CHG emissions savings by 2020. Smart ICT event is the first in a virtual event series.
Sustainability Virtual Summits will:
- Bring together global corporate visionaries, policy makers, environmental advocacy groups and leading experts;
- Showcase financially profitable practices and strategies that address and mitigate corporate and government impact on long-term health of the earth;
- Enhance corporate social awareness;
- Benefit corporate growth, profitability;
- Productivity and efficiency.
It will employ:
- A Virtual Event Platform
- Telepresence- its use will be to facilitate interaction and participation between presenters from around the globe.
This summit will facilitate concrete ideas, strategies, multi-sector solutions and analysis and case studies.
Call for papers:
Corporate, academic, non-profit, and political entities and organizations are encouraged to share and present new ideas, technologies, strategies, practical outcomes, research and case studies in line with conference themes by submitting session abstract proposals below.
