The aim of Africa Orphanage Homes Voluntary Organization is:
To introduce western people to the local culture of northern Ghana and
involve them as much as possible in the daily life of the local people.
Our programmes are designed to give participants as rewarding and
wide-ranging an experience as possible. African Orphanage Homes Voluntary
Organisation programme is unique in giving participants the opportunity
to work on two different projects during one month programme. Shorter
options are available for people with limited time.
Participants will be part of a diverse mix of people from the programme
host country, career gapers, gap year students, graduates,
participants from our Youth Development Programme, volunteer staff and
international volunteers so its an ideal environment for learning about different
cultures and making new friends.
